So sick of this endless weather of cool, dull wet days!
Mind you does mean more time indoors.. little choice there..time to spend
Off the needles is the Mink Adamas Shawl
This pattern is a dream to do.. easy to memorise the stitch pattern and can make to any length
Yesterday, dull (no surprise there) dry.. (for a short time) windy! (blah).. these photos taken quick
Mum as model

I did a test secret knit for Anni.. that should be with her today.. another dream one to work and can’t say no more till its in the magazine its destined for.
Socks.. well this pattern I wrote back in June, and now the weather has turn Autumnal decided to release and put it up for sale
Autumn Nutz
Yarn dyed by Anni, and its gorgeous Merino.. very apt for the chilly days

For now can buy direct from me here, hope to have it available to purchase through Ravelry .. soon or as soon as I get added as a seller.
Still spinning..
These two finished
M/T from The Yarn Yard a little sample sent to me.

The BFL I started with.. finally plied

On the spindle currently
BFL from Anni.. named this one Lilac Dreams, its a beautiful mix of soft shades of lilac with white

On the needles.. well I can’t, won’t say, apart from its not a test knit.. that is all I am going to say
Well now time to go, finish sorting out the washing and a spell of either knitting or spinning!

Wow Pixie, I love that shawl! That’s a gorgeous pattern. Socks are beautiful too. You have a great talent for knitting and now for spinning too.
Hope your rain stops. I’d gladly send you some of our heat. It’s sill nasty hot here. Takes your breath away when you walk outside. Bet that hurricane is going to cool it off though. I won’t send you that… only the sunshine and warmth.
Your blog looks just the same even though it’s been posted.

Wow, you have been so busy and you’re so clever with the spinning!! Wonderful stuff!
Thanks so much for the sweet card which arrived just before we left for Scotland. I saved it up along with all the others and we opened them all after the service. And thanks also for the lovely comments regarding the wedding. It really was the most perfect day from start to finish and I have so many photos to share and tales to tell when I get a chance. August is being awful isn’t it? I think we actually had better weather in the Highlands than they had down here last week, amazingly!
Must say the Olmpics is a big boost to our morale though :)
Lots of love xxxx

Can’t believe it’s August!
You’ve really got the bug with the spinning, now – it’s looking fabulous. Will I be seeing you at the Guild of Spinners, Weavers, Dyers? (meets in America Hall, Pinhoe on Second Saturday – excellent workshops etc).
I’ve been verry naughty and ordered a NEW spinning wheel.
And I love your lace knitting (I’m so crap at it, I appreciate skill when I see it). Are you on the list to be added as a seller on Ravelry? – it’s ‘open’ at the moment and it doesn’t take long.

hello, me again, sorry I haven’t been in touch but have only just got round to trying out your fix for that prob I have! Tried changing the number in the plugin script like you said but it didn’t work :( But I’m in the process of changing the them (when I find something I like!) and as it only seems to be a prob with the theme I’m using I’m not going to sweat over it….doesn’t seem to be a prob with IE for some reason. Have also discovered that the zap image doesn’t work on that theme with IE so I think it’s time for a change :)

Lovely day today

Oooh you’ve been really busy! Beautiful stuff – that goes without saying! The damp weather’s a pain really, it’s good for staying in but does bring out those aches and pains doesn’t it!
Your spinning is really beautiful, I can’t wait to be a customer from you *nudge nudge* :D
