Show off spin! 
First to show is the Sugar plum Fairy yarn.
Spun from the batts shown in the previous post, these were made from 8 different colours of pre-dyed Merino
Which I then 
into a Gail (aka Nightsongs) Shawl
First shawl knitting from my handspun, was worried I wouldn’t have enough, but I did with a little left over.. phew!
Just finished spinning up the Purple Sparkle Batts.
Anni dyed this fibre for me which looked like this
Batts shown in the previous post and finished yarn looks like this
Weighs 96g, approx 630yrds and lace weight.. Soft and squishy BFL
On the wheel now is some Merino which I dyed with food colours
Have ordered some “proper dyes” to try those out.. so hope to have a dyeing session later in the week.. which should be lots of fun.

to all of you that mailed me about my mishaps, I am ticking along nicely, still some issues but they are not going to stop me!
After a spell of that can’t be shown for now and a few mishaps at home, resulting in some injuries that put me out of action.. I finished some knitting and spinning, oh and made some batts.. making up for lost time
First up from my Purple Haze batts
555yrds of slightly over lace weight yarn
Made batts and spun from some Falkland I dyed a while back and carded with some heathery sparkle, which sadly doesn’t show in the photos
554yrds, lace weight
Made batts from some fibre that Anni dyed for me a while back, carded with some Super Bright Trilobal nylon
I got some Botany Lap waste from World of Wool and made up some batts using some of the lovely colours I got
Which has been spun and waiting on being plied
hopefully over the next day or so.
Then for knitting, been waiting a while to make this, had to find yarn I wanted to knit it in, wanted a soft cotton yarn and this was perfect

Might wear it tomorrow when we go for tea at my parents, a joint birthday tea for me and Pam.. haven’t had one of those for a few years as hers is on the 7th makes sense to combine and she will be in the USA for her big day.
